Beaconsfield is a small Buckinghamshire market town.
The Swan Inn sits at the southern end of Beaconsfield Old Town, just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the New Town and Beaconsfield Station.
Worth a visit nearby are Chalfont St Giles and Chalfont St Peter, two beautiful Buckinghamshire villages sitting on the edge of the Chilterns.
Chalfont St Giles is just a seven minute drive from the Swan and Chalfont Peter is just five minutes further.
First opened to the public on 4th August 1929, its the oldest original model village in the world. Portraying England, mostly dating from the 1930s.

Just 12 minutes from the pub, whilst the building itself is now a luxury hotel the National Trust maintains the glorious gardens and woodlands with views over the Thames.
Sitting on the edge of the Chilterns there are some fantastic walks in and around Beaconsfield including around nearby Penn Woods (woodlandtrust.org.uk) and also around Beaconsfield, check out alltrails.com for a great selection from 6km to 15km.
